Seasons of Change
ππ Fall Is My Favorite.
Every year around this time, the weather begins to cool down and change begins to happen all around us.
Where I grew up, the leaves would start to change color and a masterful creation of new colors would paint the landscape, roofs and roads as the trees shed their leaves. There's nothing quite like it.
Living in Arizona, I don't get to experience the glorious transition of the season like I did in the Midwest. The colors of the license plates change here as the snowbirds flock to warmer climates, but the landscape stays relatively unchanged.
I think I've learned a lot about how God moves in my life during my time here in the desert. I may not always "see" what He's doing with physical eyes, or "feel" the change in the season, I just have a "knowing" that He's up to something and I need to be expectant. Even if the change is as subtle as the color of a small rectangular license plate.
He's been teaching me to stop looking at what I see, and instead press into Him to KNOW what He's up to. I've been learning how to move and shift, rest and wait, all in His timing and with His faithful leading. I've never been more excited about this journey I'm on with Him than I am right now, and I know that will only increase as my relationship with Him widens & deepens.
The beauty of this is that, we all have this great gift and opportunity for a deep abiding relationship with the Father. Jesus made a way for anyone who would believe in their heart and confess with their mouths that Jesus Christ is LORD. Its really as simple as that. Saved by grace through faith, there's no greater gift.
I don't know what your relationship with Jesus looks like, or what you are walking through currently in life; but I know without a shadow of a doubt, God's working on great things for you. Turning all things for good for you. All He asks for is your heart. For you to choose Him like He's always chosen you.
To know Him is to experience freedom.
To know Him is know your true self.
To know Him is to love Him.
The air is full of the promise of a new season y'all, and there's no One else I'd rather walk into it with.
How about you? πππ
